Food industry conference

Yesterday I attended the annual conference of the Institute of Food Science and Technology (IFST) in Nottingham. It was very interesting to hear a range of speakers from a more industrial perspective, which is generally not strongly represented at academic conferences. I hope to work more closely with industry during this project, as there are a great many people involved with ‘things becoming food’ whose insights would be valuable to hear.
